Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know before we work together, answered simply and clearly.

  • I specialise in branding and print design for countryside-based businesses, including farms, estate businesses, farm shops, artisan food producers, country clothing brands, rural venues, and more. This often includes logo design, brand identity systems, packaging, stationery, menus, swing tags, brochures, signage, and label design.

  • Most of my clients are in the countryside, farms, shooting estates, food producers, and heritage makers, because that’s where I do my best work. But I’m happy to work with any business that values craft, clarity and timeless design.

  • Yes, but I’ll always guide you toward what will serve you best in the long term. A logo on its own can feel like a quick fix, but most businesses benefit from a fuller brand identity, which includes type, colour, tone, and supporting graphics. That said, I do offer logo design as a starting point when the brief is clear and simple.

  • Yes. I regularly design labels, boxes, wraps, tags, stickers, and point-of-sale materials for food and drink brands, delis, and farm shops. Whether you’re launching a new product or refining an existing range, I can help make sure your packaging reflects the quality inside.

  • Yes, I can manage print production for you, recommend trusted suppliers, or prepare final artwork so you're ready to go. I work with a range of printers who specialise in short runs, letterpress, foil stamping, uncoated stocks, and luxury packaging. We’ll choose the right process and finish for your budget and brand.

  • Absolutely. Some clients come to me for a one-off project, but many stay on for seasonal updates, event materials, packaging additions, or just someone they can call when they need something done properly. It’s a long-term relationship, built on trust and consistency.

  • Yes. While many of my clients are based in the UK countryside, most projects are done remotely via email, phone or Zoom, with clear timelines and no fuss. If a visit makes sense, I’m happy to arrange it, but remote works beautifully.

  • Both. I work with well-established estates and producers, but also with start-ups and family businesses at the beginning of their journey. If you’re just getting started, I can help guide you through the process with clarity and no jargon.

  • I no longer offer full website design or development, but I’m happy to collaborate with your developer, create brand-consistent design assets, and advise on layout and structure if needed. My focus is on branding and print, where I can add the most value.

  • Every project is different, but I’ll always give a clear proposal up front, no vague estimates, no hidden extras. I offer project-based pricing, not hourly rates, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. If you’re working with a modest budget, I can suggest ways to phase the work over time.

  • Yes. Everything we discuss is handled with discretion. I don’t use mailing lists or share your details with anyone. For sensitive or high-profile work, I’m more than happy to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) so you have peace of mind.

  • Just get in touch. Tell me a little about your business and what you’re looking for. I’ll reply personally, usually within 1–2 working days, and we can go from there.
