While I lead product design teams by day, I continue to take on select freelance projects, collaborating with founders, marketers, and entrepreneurs who value strategic, well-crafted design. Remote & global

I work remotely, which allows me to collaborate with clients across time zones, industries, and cultures. Clear communication, reliable timelines, and a straightforward process mean you always know where the work stands.

Pricing & payment

Every project is unique, and so is its scope. Once we define your needs, I’ll provide a tailored quote and a clear project plan. Here's how I typically structure engagements:

  • 50% deposit upfront to begin work

  • 50% balance due upon final delivery

  • Payment accepted via bank transfer, cash (where applicable), or secure online platforms (Paypal)

  • Invoices are due within 30 days of issue

All terms are outlined before we begin. This means no surprises, just good design delivered with professionalism.

Terms & legal notice

All freelance work is subject to clear and binding terms, agreed upon before any project begins. These include scope, deliverables, timelines, payment terms, confidentiality, and IP rights. NDAs can be signed upon request.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the project.

  • The remaining 50% is due on project completion.

  • All balances must be paid within 30 days of invoicing.

Ownership of work is transferred only upon full payment.

Until payment is received in full, all intellectual property, source files, and final deliverables remain the property of the designer (Me, Gareth Spenceley). Non-payment will result in the withholding of all usage rights, and additional fees may be incurred as outlined in the contract. Late payments may be subject to interest and recovery costs.
